The first known use of ๐€๐†๐ˆ๐‹๐ˆ๐“๐˜ was in the 15th Century.

Business ๐€๐†๐ˆ๐‹๐ˆ๐“๐˜ is the ability of a business system to rapidly respond to change by adapting its initial stable configuration and can be sustained by maintaining and adapting goods and services in meeting customer demands, adjusting to the changes in a business environment, and taking advantage of available human resources.




CASE STUDY

โ€œEvery time the size of a city double, innovation and productivity per resident increase by 15 per cent. But when companies get bigger, innovation and productivity per employee generally go down.โ€ โ€”Tony Hsieh, CEO, Zappos.

There was a case study about business agility at the company named "Snapper", a New Zealand based transport ticketing service provider. At first, all of the team members from different departments worked together and corporated together without no communication leakage. Later on, the communication flows weren't always the same as they were supposed to be. Teams working duplicated work and they were not being informed about what they really need to do and what job was being assigned.

As soon as they found out the communication wasn't going well and not being productive in assigned tasks, the Snapper team tried their best to amplify the communication culture and remove the barriers when communicating among teams. There were two points on how they get back to their normal state.

(1)They decided to focus towards one equal goal to each team and made a final decision when they sat for the meeting with the team.

(2) They decided to split work into smaller roles instead of one team member taking three to five job roles. They assigned to the most appropriate person, allowing them to develop new skills.

Years later, Snapper team get back to their old structure and the communication between teams improve better and more productive than before.

This shows no matter there is a gap and communication barrier among teams, the Snapper team made a quick response by adapting the initial condition within the company which means business agility is the fact that the company should consider as the first priority.
